This is the most demanding combination on the site. Telaga Waja is grade III–IV, three hours long, and finishes by taking the boat head-on over a dam wall — a considerably harder river than the Ayung. Following it with 90 minutes on the Ubud ATV track makes for a genuinely tiring day, in the way people who book it want it to be.
The logistics are the reason to book it as a package rather than assembling it yourself. Telaga Waja is in Karangasem and the ATV base is near Ubud, roughly 90 minutes apart on the far side of the island from each other.
